Housing costs touch more than rent or a mortgage. When money is tight, families often need help in more than one place at once — a safe place to live, food on the table, warm homes in winter, and a way to get to work or appointments. That is why this page brings together trusted help across Cumberland and York Counties, not just our own program.
Housing help can mean emergency rent or mortgage assistance, help talking with a landlord, or knowing your rights as a tenant. Food support connects you to food pantries and meal programs near you. Utility help can cover heating oil, electricity, or water bills, especially in the cold months. Transportation help covers rides to work, school, or medical appointments when getting there is the hardest part.
